Cool FF, is that some kind of a Tupperware thing?

thefishingfreak 12-02-2004 09:14 PM

yep, it was one of a plastic canister set.
if you need three feet of 30# fluro,,,,just rip pull it out.
there loaded with about 50 yards each spool.
the piece of wood is epoxied to the side with little holes drilled in it to hold the tension and alternating the spools makes it so no more than one spins at a time:)

Alternating the spools? Could you explain this further?

thefishingfreak 12-03-2004 07:49 AM

one spool spins one way
the next spool spins the other

Very smart FF....Its like a Martha Stuart leader project...;) Seriously, good thinking, I love this kinda stuffs...

Mr. Sandman 12-03-2004 10:35 AM

I LOVE! that thing! I have a problem with leader spools all over the place ...pain in the ass. I think you should send that idea into SWS and get a free shimano thunnus spinning reel!!!

do you have a dowel in the center?

thefishingfreak 12-03-2004 11:09 AM

no dowell.
the spools are nice and snug inside so ya don't need one

libassboy 12-03-2004 11:54 AM

now thats a good idea...gonna make one this weekend!

redneck24 12-03-2004 06:49 PM
