Patriots Roll Into Cleveland..

the machine known as the n.e. patriots invades the dog pound tomorrow. new coach, second or third string qb, injuries.. in the past this would be viewed as a trap game, but with this patriots team it should be a 14 pt game. these guys are that good and superbly prepared, go patriots!!!!!! oh, almost forgot to mention how lucky they are:D

BigFish 12-04-2004 01:11 PM

Put yer feet up and watch the Pats kick some Brown butt! We get a good lead I hope Coach rests/saves some of the first stringers!:sleeps: This game "should" be a cakewalk!

fishaholic18 12-04-2004 02:15 PM

More like,
Put you're feet up and watch the Pats do just enough to beat the Browns.
No such thing as a "Cake walk " with the Pats, they never blow teams out, even BAD TEAMS!!!

Squid kids Dad 12-04-2004 03:25 PM

When your that good you dont have to blow out the other team..:D ..Pass the cake please..

BigFish 12-04-2004 04:23 PM

Havin' my cake and eatin' it too Ron....:D.....mmmmmm sure is good!;) They don't have cake like this in Oakland...do they?:laughs:

Not long ago the Niners, Cowboys and a few other teams sat on top of the league and just look where they are now!!!

afterhours 12-04-2004 05:30 PM

fishaholic18 12-04-2004 05:39 PM

Yes, lets enjoy it while it lasts.
In the NFL, any team can beat another on any given day.
Go PATS!

BigFish 12-04-2004 05:59 PM

I hope nobody forgets the late 80's and early 90's when the Pats were god awful..Tommy Hodson, Scott Secules, Hugh Millen?

Raider Ronnie 12-05-2004 03:45 PM

BigFish 12-05-2004 04:11 PM

Vectorfisher 12-05-2004 05:08 PM

Great win for your time we knew the battle would be hard fought:laughs: :laughs: On another note does anyone notice the Pats seem to be playing dirty lately?? How many personal foul flags have been thrown on them in the past few games? I like the lineman blocking at the knee's from behind thats a classis, maybe Duce Staley was telling it like it is:eek:

Mike P 12-05-2004 05:09 PM

I didn't see the game here. 42-15 isn't a blowout

I do believe a Patriots player got chop blocked before that play..a little payback. That flag on Rodney was bs..he gets singled out every week, it was a clean hit.

You kidding not from the replay I saw helmet too helmet is what I saw. He is also the most fined player in the NFL.

afterhours 12-05-2004 05:47 PM

VF- wah, wah, wah.... rodney plays on the edge( half his fines are for rep only). chop block WAS payback. btw- good chance that your squeelers go down tonite:D

BigFish 12-05-2004 06:09 PM

I think Vectorfisher is a bitter Steeler fan who can't face the fact that the Patriots are far and away a better team than the Pittsburg Kneelers!;)

Funny though...the Pats get no credit from many of you guys....they blow out the Browns and we get...:sleeps:...and when we beat the respectable teams we get called "lucky"? :smash: When are you guys...Vectorfisher and Raider Ron to name two....gonna give the 2 Superbowl in 3 year Patriots the credit they deserve?:laughs:

Not any time soon!!!
So they beat up on a team with a,
3rd string rookie quarterback,
an interm coach coaching his 1st game after their coach resigned 1 week ago!!!:smash:
BIG DEAL
show me a blow out against a good team and I'll give them some credit!!!

afterhours 12-05-2004 06:34 PM

wish we'd play the faiders this year:D

BigFish 12-05-2004 07:16 PM

I agree with you Ron....they should have beaten' the snot out of the Browns today and did......but you guys keep giving us the "football is not the game it used to be" crap! :smash: If the Raiders were winning....:laughs:....it would be tantamount to the "rebirth" of the game the way it used to be! Face facts gents....with the exception of todays joke game....look at the run this team has been on and the records they have broken and set.....is it just the last 3 seasons the game has been stocked with mediocrity.........I don't think so! This team is as good as any you can name! Period! On any given Sunday folks???? Well....the Pats have played many a game the past 3 seasons, and not too many are beating them and they have played some great teams! However, you doubting Thomases will always find some "logical" reason as to why the Patriots "got lucky" and won the game! "Oh, so and so was injured" or "the ref made a lousey call that cost so and so the game"!:bc: Wah, wah, wahhhhhhhhh!

fishaholic18 12-05-2004 07:17 PM

This is tackle football, isn't it? Aren't they allowed to hit?
I think they have gone too far with all the personal foul calls. Let them hit like it used to be. As far as the Pats playing dirty, I think I saw a few chop blocks from the Browns, and didn't Brady take a helmet shot in the head? Didn't here him complain.

Who needs credit when you're Superbowl Champs!
We'll see who cares about credit when we win the SB this year!
