I owe my dad
 
I lost that plug on a dry/old mono line 30 years ago from my dad's special tacklebox. He had a bench-load of plugs that I was welcome to use. It was an early spring day and I saw fish on the surface in fron of my parent's house, grabbed a pole and THE box and ran for the beach. 1st cast I lost a jointed "eel" about 10" long.
He was a little upset when I confessed my sins. Those were the gold old days when a backhand was worth a thousand words or 30 years of oops I did it again...

I think I may buy him a few for Father's day.
