I got a plug tree!:D I took a ballister (cedar, but doesn't matter) and drilled a bunch of 1/8" holes in it and I put a piece of 1/8" rod into the arse hole of the plugs...that way I can hold them, and turn them as I paint them!;) Then, while drying...just put the rod into the holes on the "plug tree" and lett em' dry! Pics of it on the BigFish Batch thread.

I been sealing with 60/40 boiled linseed oil/mineral spirits....but gonna try VAL oil....supposed to dry over night and give a rock hard finish....the 60/40 takes about a week to dry.;)

i use metal coat hangers. i cut them in the middle and insert one side through the nose hole and one through the tail hole. plus that gives me a nice handle to hold them while painting. and i hang them on my wife's clothes line to dry:rolleyes:
