But then she broke me off :(

Don't you hate it when this happens?

No, it didn't have any hooks in it either...

Lemme guess?It's a Dogfish?Did you lip it?

DaveS 10-16-2001 05:30 PM

You know something? My bride thinks I'm crazy for doing the exact same thing with my golden retriever! Wait till I show her I aint the ony nut out there. Good Job!

Patrick82 10-16-2001 06:33 PM

I do the same thing with my cat. If I have the fly rod out and practicing, he'll chase after it. My dog is an idiot. She is scared of the vacuum, tennis balls, the water (She is a black lab), other dogs, anything coming at her. Not the brightest thing going. She's loveable but dumb.

Are those pitbulls? Awfully cute.

JohnR 10-16-2001 07:10 PM

Now you gotta rig it up with a teaser popper and see if you can get them both in.... :p

Tattoo 10-16-2001 07:18 PM

John, why didn't I think of that!?! I dont think my ABU 6.5 foot rood and ABU 5600 can handle one Pit thats 50lbs and the other that's pushing 70 lbs. I might have to break out the boat rod! :D

Yup they are both pits, and very lovable. Never has either showed one sign of aggression. The one who I caught is afraid of the vacum, the othe is afraid of the celing fan...go figure?

Believe it or not I can't even walk through the house with a lure in my hand without them going nuts! The one I caught (Holly) actually pulled a lure right out of my hand and hooked it in her lip....boy was that a fun event.

JeffH 10-16-2001 08:04 PM

I use to do that with my kids, got my first fifty that way. They would run after it and grab it in their hands and then run, problem now is they are plug shy.....must have been the hooks.

Cool_Hand_Fluke 10-16-2001 09:17 PM
