Man am I in the doghouse tonight

tonight I was doing some plugbuilding stuff and was using a dull plywood blade on my tablesaw while cutting maple.. it was smoking a bit and it set off the smoke detector upstairs. this wouldnt be such a big deal except mrs eben and my 4 month old son were asleep upstairs and mrs eben honestly thought there was a fire...

I might be laying low for few days while I mend the wounds :(

Seriously Eben, you deserve it :smash:

Don't let your tablesaw smoke, fastest way to find out of there is a defect in your blade.

either that or buy the correct blade
if the blade was one of those blades for a skillsaw for cutting paneling, then you deservr to be in the doghouse:rolleyes: :wall:

well shoot... I knew it wasnt the right blade to use, but it was the only one I had.. the amount of smoke it made was so small i figured it wasnt a big deal- I admit it though... I am not a skilled woodworker, but wait till you guys see the darters I made last night:happy:

oh.. not in doghouse anymore... mrs eben realised it was an accident and is being very cool to me today.
