Front loop

1 Attachment(s)
Here is how I do my front loop. fast and simple, takes less than a minute to do a wire. First I cut a tig rod in half and cur off the crimps from ends. Next I use an electricians phillips screwdriver with the stud on hamdle and place wire between screwdriver shaft and stud on handle.

now hold screwdriver at top of loop and squeeze wires together underneath screwdriver. (different sized screwdrivers can be used to adjust size of loop. Make sure pliers are held fairly tight to screwdriver

QUESTION

Do you insert both ends into front hole of plug, or wrap short end around main wire as in rear loop.
Dan:confused:

My round nose pliers have a large variation in diameter. This way I keep them all the same size. Until I buy or make a bender like the one you have this works for me. It is actually quite fast. I could probably do a 100 in an hour if I wanted to.

Nebe 12-21-2004 07:45 PM

Has anyone tried these pliers from Cabelas yet??

Interesting idea for doing the loop.

BackCast, those are the pliers that I use for doing the loop. The different size sections can be used to do different size loops.
