the eels are in trouble and as a new year's resolution, i am not going to use them anymore, or at least until I hear that they have started to recover-

been in trouble for awhile. I remember an article in 97 speaking about the decline.

Hope everybody had the forethought to freeze or brine their deceased eels from last season....

This could be the year of the riggie - or eel bob with a nice skin on it....

Freezers loaded:D . Got a nice holdover last night on a nice freezer burned eel:devil: . Gonna have to fish more sluggos this season. No rig, no bob:cool:

When you're up my way this coming season you'll have to school me in proper eel fishing now that I have a setup more suited to that type of fishing;) .

I'm with you Eben. Never really fished eels that much so it will be more sluggos for me.
