Must be great to know that you can catch fish like that in the dead of winter.

They're talking about where he lives, not where he was when he caught the fish.

"He now lives in Greenbackville , just south of the Eastern Shore’s Maryland line."

rock fish?

i have some good friends from maryland and they are all hee haws. Christ, would someone insist that they call them stripers?

What a pig. It's got to have 15 lbs. of bait in her. Looks like some of those 60 lb lake caught stripers down south. Full to the brim. That's what you get when the fish have a good source of large bait to eat. Something we don't get to see to often around here.
