some white dannies and other stuff...
1 Attachment(s)
Trying to clear the decks to work on those Mosso swimmers.
Three Danny plugs, a small Cutty Hunk style and a small maple Spook style guy that would have been better made out of a lighter wood.... I'm intrigued with the idea of adding a touch of red to the tails of these like I did on the top small Danny. |
Then some small lipless swimmers

These are made with maple scraps, about 4 to 5 inches long. No idea how they'll swim. But they were fun to make.

Saving for the lathe, etc. Santa wasn't kind this year, unless you like lots of clothes.... :-(
|
You arent doing those on a lathe????? what are you using a belt sander???
|
It's an old jewler's lathe, not a wood lathe. I sit there and crank two different knobs simutaneopusly, which move a metal knife, to get my cuts. Sort of a pain.
|
If your doing that kind of work w/ that setup.....when you get a lathe I'm just gonna stand back and watch the magic. :D
