blank selection

Hello all,

I am building a rod for a buddy. Since I am a novice, I need some help selecting a blank. The requirementments are

The rod is going to be wrapped conventional, with a Penn 965. The rod can be no longer than 7ft. It is going to be a boat rod, and the inside storage does not permit a rod longet than 7ft. 80-90% fished as a liveling/drifting outfit for whatever is available herring, macks, pollack. An occasionally toss/drifting of eels. 10% is trolling with plugs. And tossing plugs and such at busting schools.

Targetting Stripers and Bass. And he is looking for the lightest action rod that will fit the above bill.

All help welcome.

The lami glb 82 2L or glb 84 1m would work

Building a couple of those this winter.....for similar applications

Nice blank. I've fished with Lami's finished rod utilizing that blank (one of the Inshore Classics) ...I think its line rating is 12-20 or 25? lb ...one piece ( I think the other blank striperondafly listed is two) the blank itself is pretty light.
