Anyone have any oppinion on this rod?
Can be had pretty cheap, and I need a few for the boat.
Application, trolling (lures, t7w, spoons) & some jiggin (parachute, bucktail). Wire?

If you want a wire rod in that ~rating (40-60) take a look at the penn sabre wire rod... also go with carboly guides, normal guides will get a groove in them from the wire... our go-to deep water wire outfit for years was then penn sabre rod with a 4/0 high speed senator reel... they were good for t&w, as well as 'chutes..
now adays we tend to use more lead core line, troll a little shallower with a lighter rod (I forget what he has on the boat now) I havent really trolled wire for a few years... its a great way to catch big fish but I dont enjoy it very much.....
