are you guys keeping your maple or birch plugs submerged durring the sealing process?? I keep them under for about 5 minutes, but I think i should be doing it longer. :huh:

depends on what you are using. I leave them down overnite

Over night! wow mac. Are you doing this because it is better to be safe than sorry?? I've been using that minwax woodhardner stuff, and it seems to absorb into the wood quickly. I also found it is better to wipe off the stuff after i pull it out of the bath. If I dont do that, i have to sand off some drip marks, but if I do it I only have to lightly scuff-
