Water slide transfer question
 

I picked up some water slide transfer paper to mark my plugs. I realise they need some clear coat sprayed on them before they get dipped in water. My question is...Would Minwax Polycrylic be suitable? Ive been able to spray this stuff with my airbrush but dont know if its compatable. Hate to waste a sheet of this stuff because its a little pricey.
