ryobi
who sells them. i think they might rival diawa:happy:
Been a long time since I've seen one.A Ryobi spinner was one of the first reels I had as a child after I graduated from spincast reels.
As kid all my fishing stuff was bought at the Navy Exchange or K-Mart. |
Berkley bought them out and shut them down years ago. Dont think they are made any longer.
The company exists for sure. They still manufacture low budget power tools.
Different division
they make high end spinners for the asian market comparable to Saltigas. ugly as hell, though! looks like they were put together with a nail gun.
type ryobi into ebay. they are overseas and it looks like there is one high end model
hottackle has em...high to low end models. I suppose service and repairs might be an issue over here.
Low end reels that you can't get parts for---sounds like a great idea
If you really want to fish with a POS reel, at least get a Tica. The company is very good about replacing them when they break. Order a spare handle or two when you first get the reel and carry a spare in your bag. I got a 4500 Camry for my son. He bent the handle the second time he used it. |
thanks
