Ty Law

So you want to bash him over his comments and not his performance?

Was he a perfect player? No.
Did he say some stupid things? Yes.

But I prefer to remember (and judge) him a lot more for his play than for his comments. He was the 2nd best (behind Mike Haynes) defensive back this team ever had!

And I will go on record being a Brady fan in the Bledsoe/Brady debate, but I believe many people forget what Bledsoe did during his good years here.

I don't forget....he choked!:smash: I think Bledsoe was a class act but his biggest problems were he could not see the entire field (lousey peripheral vision) could not find/recognize his secondaries and he was too stubborn to realize when his primary reciever was unavailable, to find those secondaries. If I had to watch him chuck the ball out of bounds one more time I was going to slash my wrists! How often do you see Brady do that? Almost never because he has feet that can move (another of Bledsoes problems) and he reads the "D" alot better than Bledsoe ever thought of! I could go on picking Bledsoe apart but I am tired now!;)

PS-Never was a Bledsoe fan...does it show?:D Big Ty Law fan though...gonna miss him.:( I wish him the best.

Didja catch that close up of Brady's face during the SuperBowl? He checked the defensive line, checked the backfield , checked the play clock, didn't have to check the yard marker, and called the play. Never seen any other Q-back check the field like he was reading his dashboard gauges before. He's a keeper.
Having said all that , every time Bledsoe plays a game, he breaks a record. I firmly believe that Parcells gave that man a case of the yips that will never leave him.
Ty Law , good player on a team of great players, he'll be a welcome addition to a needier team.

It's amazing how far Drew has fallen in the league. I hate to admit it, but I was one of the people who called for him to start over Brady when he came back. Looking back though, I realize how many times I held my breath and waited for Bledsoe to cough up the ball as it always happened. Thank god for Brady.:D

Oh yeah, going to miss Ty but the Pats will be fine without him. Is he a hall of famer at this point? I think he will be in Canton.
