StowAway racks
Just got this from the company .
They look pretty good & price is righ.t What do you think? http://www.stowaway2.com/RodRack.htm |
 Price is waaaaay outta my league...but it looks nice:rolleyes:
|
There is a lot of room for price on the item ;) They are showing full list.
|
Nice. Finally someone invented a carrier you don't have to reach and crawl over to get into the back of the truck. Normal racks have a 500 pound weight capacity. I guess you loose 300 pounds with the swingout option.

Where is Prof Moriarty
 Pl's make me one of these :D:laughs:
It is a sweet Idea, and i would love ta have one but only if they move the decimal point over one;) |
WOW!
There goes the food budget for the rest of the month. :wall: |
Mike... have you seen up close and loaded (not U... the rack ;) )... how stable is it?
Mounts to the reciever, and seems to have a lot going on.. I'd also wonder about the height on some rigs.. fine over the road.. but I can think of a couple cut thru's on my beach, that the rack would be doing some serious grading... 200 pound capacity... |
Class II hitch Stad 2" reciver 250 – 350 LT Model, Swingaway Model with a 2" opening and a 300 lb. tongue weight capacity
It only goes to 200 lb if you are adding the Hitch Extender or have a car like a RAV 4 |
They look nice but I'd be concerned with rod butts dragging through some of the tracks. Now if you were going to carry front bumper rod carriers (aluminum) I'd be interested .
|
I'm not going to carry either.
|
Great idea to give access for SUV's and trucks with caps.
