screw eyes?

will .72 1in screw eyes that are epoxied in hold up to a 15 pound striper or more?

A SS 0.72 screw eye by itself is strong, the rest depends on the wood. Get a piece of wood sample and mount the screw eye and try to lift two 1-gal milk containers full of water. I would try a straight pull as well as at a perpendicular angle.

Unless you are using a real soft wood like balsa or basswood, you should be fine. Just make sure to get the stainless steel screw eyes.
