Trespassing, Anyone?
Is sneaking onto private property integral to the surfcasting experience?
|
Not necessarily...but keeping a low profile and not raising a ruckus is.
|
The trick is not getting caught...
|
Love too. Some of my favorite holes require some late night covert fence hopping. Havent got caught or disturbed anyone yet. Ive also gotten permission to some properties by just knocking on the door and asking.

i sneek into property all over the cape and south shore.
allways wear all black and carry two lights one bright one for finding your car and one with a red lense for sneeking around. p.s. what do you think of my new avatar? |
I have played Navy Seal operations, climbing rocks of the cannal and such to get to places!!
As long as you are quite, don't take 100 guys with ya, and clean your trash up when you leave no one will borther you!! I had a guy in a million dollar home catch me one day, I said I was sorry and he said he has thrown people out all the time!! But that I was always alone or with one person and never left a mess, and that he had saw mew there 4 or 5 times before. Said I could now pass his yard when I go instead of climbing the rocks at night!! Since then I have a boat and have not been there in a long long time!! |
I've found that items like salami, beef jerkey, or dried pigs' ears can sometimes be very helpfull.

I must be one of the lucky ones.Being in the construction trade I've had access to shoreline that couldn't have been gotten too without extreme difficulty.
That's one good thing about rich folk...they only build near the water. The bad thing is that it limits access for most other folks. |
