Not sure if it came through or if it's clear enough. In the backround is the WTC Towers on 09/05/01. This was taken about 40 miles away from Fire Island Inlet. Being on the FDNY, this picture has its own special meaning for me.

Are those the two small dashes behind your head?

I finally figure out how to upload a pic and it looks like my vision after a few beers! :wall:

121...it was very disturbing fishing some my favorite local spots in Riis and Breezy as the towers burned and smoldered in the very near background for the days after 9-11. Memories of friends and aquantances, some I fished the beach with, would never be coming home again. Every one of them reguardless of profession is a hero. A special Kudos to those who risk their lives to keep us all safe.

Maybe some bridge fishing?

A little grainy from the disposable cheapo lens but they give the idea.

Montauk fall 2004

This brings back some painful memories.

I was out at Jones Inlet and Todd's Point (Old Greenwich, CT) shortly after 9/11. The smoldering wreckage of the towers was plainly visible. I have pictures but I am not going to post them.
