Lamiglas blank for Live Lining

What would your choice for live lining herring and bunker and the occasional bait with 5 oz? The GSB1201M or the SB seriers. Would the SU1209 (not the SW1209) be to heavy for this? Any other suggestions?

SB 121 3M cut to 9' from the butt--ideal.

The 1209 would probably work too, if you want a 10' rod to live line. Personally, I prefer 8-1/2 to 9'.

i agree, 1213m stock or cut down. the 1201m could be used if it was cut down a little. if you're set on 10', cut a 1321m. cutting or using a fast action rod like the 1208/1209's could lead to throw off bait. another option is the xra1261mh stock.
