Oak Rodholder

Necessity is the Mother of a huge Home Depot bill! Needed a nice holder for my rods so 2 hours later, some oak 1 x 2's, some green sticky back felt and a good design.......rod rack done. :btu:

Larry, Nioce job!! You need to make one modification; move one rack closer to the other. IMHO they are too far apart. Look at the reverse bow in the bottom rod!
I have a rack system that is similiar and I sore rods between 7' and 11' with no problem.
Again, real nice job!!

why do you have them sticking out like that?? someone is going to walk into it and whack their head or arm.. Why not simply mount it verticle on the wall so the rods are right on top of eachother- it will take up less space and wont hurt anyone. It looks well built though :D

To each his own I guess....the rest of the shop has cement block walls and I did not want to go through the hassle of lagging the damn thing, plus it is away from my dusy tools and my oilly work stuff! Only one who goes in here 99% of he ime is me so if I hit it...my bad. :wiggle:
