7 days and counting till the speech!
I've been waiting for this for 4 years, six months, and one day.
Think I've been counting???
Rick
and ps- yes we will :buds: very, very much. We're staying at the reception site (thank God for Inns with rentable rooms!).
Later,
Best Man Rick

macojoe 04-02-2005 07:12 PM

Congrats!! I think?? :laughs:

As a wise old man said once:

"Why buy the cow, when the milk is for free"

I listened, and have been living with her for 24 years, never married!!

Rappin Mikey 04-02-2005 11:53 PM

The honeymoon is in St. Marteen. Anybody got any good links to decent charter I should book?

tynan19 04-03-2005 10:55 AM

A fishing charter on their honeymoon. Who would do such a thing?

sportsman 04-04-2005 09:26 AM

Look out for the charters in St. Marteen. When I was there I had a guy take off with my deposit and I never did get on a boat. But it's a fun island all in all, go to the dutch side I think it's Orient beach you won't need a swim suit!!

Jimbo 04-04-2005 10:30 AM

That's great, Mikey. Best wishes for a long happy life together. (Make sure your brother keeps off the "shine" til after the toast). Can't speak for St. Marteen, but I was around the corner in Nevis once and did a charter. Captain was grouchy SOB that never came down off the bridge and the mate didn't speak a word of English. Hope they aren't all like that.

Swimmer 04-04-2005 11:32 AM

Marriage yikes

Let us know when the fishing gear yard sale will be. Ain't it grand.
Good luck!

RickBomba 04-04-2005 07:51 PM

Jimbo,
Trishy's got a strict "no drinking" ban in effect until the reception.
Four days to go, haven't strated working on the speech yet!
At least I've got a lot of material!
Later,
Rick

Jimbo 04-05-2005 04:36 PM

Whoa! Did I just hear a whip crack or what?!
Rick, as the astute groomsman I'm sure you will be, don't forget to take white out and write "HELP ME" on the soles of his shoes. Also have a snotrag ready for little bro'. This is one of those life events where even the most macho of fisherman rapsters tend to lose it. You guys are going to have a blast.

Rappin Mikey 04-06-2005 08:19 AM

The last time I cried, was when Mr. Spock died in the Wrath of Cahn. Just kidding, I actually just got done crying. I got swept down the river yesterday, and took a big gulp full of water. I haven't stopped puking since. I don't know where it is all coming from??????? 3 days left, so I better start feeling better.

Gloucester2 04-06-2005 10:46 AM

Mikey stay the helll away from that river . . . it's running big and we don't want to loose the Resident Rapper :hihi:

rizzo 04-06-2005 01:37 PM

Good luck with everything mikey, when are you getting back from the honeymoon?

reelecstasy 04-06-2005 01:40 PM

run

Bass Babe 04-07-2005 12:08 PM

congrats on your choice. a relatively selfless act, its not something alot of us would do. have fun at your wedding, the honeymoon, and the rest of your life.
