Wow, didn't realize it has been a couple of years since I finished a rod. :smash: When I looked at the 2-part finish I had it looked a bit sad, so I guess I need new. Just wondering what the "good" stuff is these days.

Aftcote seems to be all the rage lately Jeff. Long time to set up so keep it turning overnight.

Thanks for the info. Ever notice we have all winter to take care of these projects and yet we wait until a week or two before the season.......... :rollem:

Ever notice???? Seems like a way of life these days!! :) I'm already planning to check the line on my reel the night before our first outing cause I'm soo busy every day until then including about 2 weeks out of the country. Oh well , life on the edge!!.
