Air brush question-
I was painting yesterday and noticed i was getting a pulsating spray action from my brush every 10-15 sec. No spitting of paint but a slow down in the spray. Brush is clean, needle is not bent, and the compressor is working steady.
Any ideas on why this is happening:huh: |
paint may not be mixed enough....thick/thin in your container. happens in r-cans when not mixed enough.

you have an air/vacume leak between the paint supply and the tip.
make sure the tip is tight and the cup is tight to the gun. |
if you have one of those single cylinder tankless compressors? the're prone to pulses of air pressure. an extra length of hose will fix that.
hmm, now that i think about it you probly have a jar that the air relief hole is plugged up. little tiny pin hole in the top of the jar. |
Thanks CS and FF. I think your both right as i stored the paint in the blast cap vials and while i plug the air hole when stored, could be they are clogging and a little thick. Also will add an extra piece of hose i have. Thanks again.:)
