I made those or should say tried about 43 years ago...my brother and his friend were sittin in the livin room watch tv...his friend was sitting in the rockin chair...I pulled out my collection of top's an was sliding them under the rocker leg,,as he rocked back it would fold over the tops just like you see in the pic's...wel! I was abit slow removing my fingers from one and down came the arm and bottle cap cutting my finger half off...the cut was a perfect scalloped shape just like the edge on the top...needless to say the tops never got hooks put in them...they got tossed out :smash:

work pretty good as a replacement clip for those patio umbrellas.....

after the wind thrashes them theres always one missing.....:wid:
