My job is soooo boring
I started my first attempts at flies.. I have tied up 40+ teasers and 50+ bucktails for my plugs I turned.
Today, took a walk up to Firefly, ( I know they are $$, but they are close to my work) Making my first attempts at sand eels...little flex cord, some buck tail, flashaboo red-bottom, greenish-top, some olive saddles, nice eyes.. Almost looks good :) Really gotta get better at the whip finish-.. Just looking for the most common saltwater flies to tie, nothing but time during the day, so might as well make the most of it... :D |
LOL, I've been in that fly shop on my business trips up that way.
