SCRAPING WHEN RE-PAINTING?

Reading Vector Fish's last post made me post this. How many of you scrape the old paint off your hull before you repaint. Is this something you should do each year. I always painted over.

never scraped or sanded...use wil-bond...clear/ wipe on, repaint.never any problems.

Capesams is dead on with the wil-bond or Deglosser

this will work until you build up a few coats fo old sutuff...

a good powerwash can also be substituted for scraping or sanding....
