removing rod finish

What do you use to remove rod finish?

If you mean removing the old finish from guides,I use a heat gun to get it warm then peel it off, may need a razor to help but be careful not to damage the blank. Go easy on the heat too, to much may also do damage.

one of the wonders of epoxy- easy removal with it's low deterioration temp.
