Whats a decent one - digital or not - that wont break the bank...

mikecc has good deals on the rapala lock n weigh, or he did when I bought one a couple of weeks ago... haven't looked lately.

My berkley digital is pretty tuff and it didn't break the bank at all. My buddy has had his for like 6 yrs and is still balls on...

Berkley digital works just fine. More accurate than a pricey Shimano mechanical that I got a while back. Can get one from Mike.

Mike has the Lipper too. Similar to a Boga, all stainless, 60# scale and IGFA ceertifiable. I like it better than the Boga. He sells them for around a "C" note. Other places on line were in the 140 + range.
