Fluke are in RI waters now

Saw it myself today (May 1) - I hooked up with a 16 incher on the drift about a mile off of Pt. Judith.

Also, we were marking huge clouds of sand eels on their way from the Block to parts north. I think this cold winter is producing a bumper crop - cross your fingers.

Happy fluking everyone. :tm:

Same here, FWW. I saw some in the water on Saturday night from where I slept in my car.

Stupid Newbe question

How can I tell what are sand eels and what are squid on my finder ?
This part should end up in the boating forum but do you use the arch
detail or fish detail ? Heck all this electronics and I don't know what I'm looking at lol
