Recommendations for a 8 HP 4 stroke

Hi, If anyone has any suggestions (manufacturer) that you've had good luck with, I'd appreciate the input.

> Just looking to push a small aluminum boat (freshwater lake).

Thanks in advance.

Lighter than the Hondas by far.

2003 YAMAHA OUTBOARD MOTOR ENGINE 8 HP 4 STROKE!!

Just saw this on ebay. 5 hours left. Current price $1059.99 and reserve not yet met.

Just check weight ratio to hull. I opted not to put a Yamaha 25 four stroke short shaft on a 13 foot whaler as it would likely be getting dunked if on a mooring in a blow like tonight. And fours don't take dunking as well as the old school. Parts alone would be about 450 per dunk.
