GREAT DAY!!!!
 

Decided with the wind and tides to leave a little early, and go over to race point! I had read in the Fisherman that stripers and the cod bite was in! Great ride out,hooked right up with Mr. Morone saxatallis untill slack water.caught 3 keepers,a bunch of schoolies and some sea robins! At one point we even had a short fight with a scuba diver, he was definatley a keeper! 6'-2" , 200+ pounds,would have made a great mount, but he broke off short of the gaff! the ride home was a little ruff, but we've had worse. Didn't jig for any cod, but there where plenty of other boats in tight to the rip jigging away! :uhuh:

Hope you were able to get a tag on that scuba... usually the fatty section in the back is the best place for the tag lol :rollem:
