It died. The guy who caught it was on the Today show this morning.

that thats the biggest catfish ever caught....crack inspection divers at the hoover dam in Arizona (800 feet deep) have seen catfish down there SO big they wont go back down there for fear of DEATH.....a guide i once met there said...see that
spot...its where there used to be this huge bush that his brother had tied off a 200 pound deep sea line with a huge hook and a rotten roast beef...and when he came back....the bush was ripped right out of the bank...roots and all. Then he said that ..a couple of guys there take off a rear tire on there truck and put on just a rim to use it as a big ole reel and winch in big cats with it. :fishslap:
