Bassmaster Sighting
 

I was fishing along the south side of the cape Saturday morning and had the spot pretty much all to myself when along came another fisherman. Taking a second look I realized it was the one and only Bassmaster. Whoa I was a little surprised to see him. Maybe not because of the location but hey it was 8:30 in the morning I guess I thought of BM as more of a night owl. Dave passed along a tip on his way out to his preferred spot at this location and I put his tip into action and proceded to catch a nice fish. It was great as the fish exploded on the plug right near me on the surface so I I saw it all. Cool. This was just as the fog was burning off and it was starting to look like it was going to be a good day. Hey blue sky and sun who cares if I catch a fish I am just happy to see sun after a week like this one past.

Well BM stopped on his way back and I told him his tip payed off and then he proceded to give me and another angler that had arrived in the interim an excellent lesson in plug fishing. Thanks for that!!!

Then we get back to the parking area and that is when it happened. I got Ho'd or wait was it BM that got Ho'd ;) Thanks a bunch for the sweet plug!!

I just wanted to let you know I went out later that night and put it into action at the spot I mentioned. It paid off and I got my first legal keeper of the season on your plug! Not huge but still a nice 30" fish. I was just sloooowly reeling it along near the surface when the fish nailed it. Hope to get many more on it. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks and glad to see You, I went out that afternoon and it was alittle ,,,,well phishing stank a few fish that was it'
But there was a whale right off the surf, it was awsome.
today was good after family time ..
i booked it and went out
and there was bait, looked like juvinile shad or herring. and caught maybe 15 or 20 fish at 2 places. I swapped out an olive phatboy with purple hue sides to a small pearl white wild eye to match the hatch and was on. then i went to a yobubbaH emporer minnow and went at it.
had fun in jucy water. i would love to phish where I seen ya or maybe where You said You was going. tomorrow but have family and kida tired.
but i will be fishing alot this week after work.
It was nice fishing with You. Im teaching a friend how to fish to. I gave him a lami i wrapped 1083 and a set of waiders and plugs alonng with some good times.
he has his 1st keeper under his belt, its fun to help people out.
