MEP

I'm not sure how many of you guys/gals listen to scanners, but I do. MA Envirnomental Police are busting people all over the place for small fish. It seems like there is a ZERO tolerance policy in effect this year. If you have a scanner that can handle trunk tracking, and want information on how to set it up to hear MEP contact me. MEP is running a few freqs on low band, but most chat is heard on the MA STATE POLICE trunked system. Just wanted to share this information :)

Did you call the FISH & GAME at: 1-800-632-8075 ?

That's the number on my freshwater lic here in MA. So I figured it would be the number for salt too. I called, and reported someone yesterday by using this number, and they said they would get someone out there ASAP. I'm just wondering what number you used....

Check the main forum, theres a thread I posted in with all the numbers.

FISHING4FUN 06-03-2005 10:43 AM

Ok checked it, and the number for the FISH & Game is the same for MEP. Which is cool :) If we all do our part, we will cut down on the number of small fish being taken/killed.

I'll PM John to ask him to make the EP numbers a sticky in the main forum so nobody has any excuses about not knowing numbers.

Good call :)

REPORTING violations is a must. If we want to keep the fish around for many years to come.
