In the spirit of polls, where would you fish if you were targeting the 50 pounder?

I dont know if your talking about the one out here in holyoke or not but there are some MONSTER largemouth in there..... :blush:

I have to agree with you there. I used to fish there all the time when I grew up. My biggest bucketmouths came from there. Whitings was real good too.

Lol Small world, I can walk to Whitings in about 10 minutes...if I wanted too....but theres too many stripers here to be wasting time doing that :drool:

you forgot the Cape Cod Canal!

Yeah...I wanted to add Cape Cod canal and the the Merrimac Area also, but our polls only allow for 7 answers.....sorry.....include Cape Cosd Canal into South Cape Beaches I suppose.

are you allowed to set foot on that island??? I woudl love to go out there with a tent, enough food for a few days, and an eel carr. :D

I got a 38 yesterday and we had a fish today that I'm sure was over 50,
It was on for about 10- 12 minutes till it straightened out the hook!!!
Team Ave' Maria will be back at it starting at 4:00 am tomorrow !!!
