8 1/2 years and he wasn't even there for the MOST (and ise a yankmee fan ya no) awesome few weeks in baseball history...

He was on the team during the year so I guess he deserves it. I feel bad he missed it, I was a fan of his. He is a hell of a player. He said he didn't even watch the World Series, I don't belive that. I guess I say good for him. Paul

they all are to some extent. he used to be a solid ball player, i liked him because he played hard. i guess his lying( about off season injuries) and putting himself on a high petestal( turning down a big contract) and somewhat deteriorating skills and attitude turned me off. not to mention his ability to pop up and hit into double plays as well as his cancerous demeanor in the clubhouse.

Maybe now he'll stop all of that incessant fidgeting. :scatter:

I have no problem w/ him getting one. I mean they gave one to Don and Jerry, hell, they gave one to the friggin janitor, so why not Nomar. He gave us 7 great years (last year and a 1/2, not so good). He did play 1/2 the season last year and most teams would have done the same.
