lure scents

does any one use lures scents for stripers. I was thinking about trying some on some bucktails jigs but didn't want to waste the money without asking around to see what works best. thanks

liquid lure scent? never used. but a nice strip of pork rind will work better and last longer.

Steve uses spray on bunker oil on his sluggos everytime he fishes them and says it seems to work!

filling up the hook cavity of a large redgill with bunker oil DOES NOT WORK. :conf: :zup: :skulz:

Smelly Jelly. That stuff is like paste as opposed to a liquid so it doesn't quickly wash off your lure.

I've been using this stuff called Carolina Lunker Sauce. It's been pretty well-known to sweetwater anglers for some time now.

There are three saltwater flavors that are out - shrimp, crab, and one called "menhaden shad."

Yum.
