fish spotted at Noyes Neck
 

I spent the New Year in Westerly and took a ride over to the overlook at Noyes Neck. While there , suddenly the birds got active and I watched to see if I could tell the bait. Next thing you know there are good size splashes in the water. Either bass or blues and my guess is bass since any blues now would be huge and these where not huge fish. Schooly stripers is my bet. They were up and busting bait 5 to 10 minutes then down and gone! Nice site on New Years Eve.

AHHHRRRGGGG!!!! They're STILL AROUND :p - and I still haven't gone to Providence yet...

Nice to hear the fish were around Westerly. We tried fishing bottom @ East Beach this past Sunday and had no luck. We were hoping that there might be a blue or two still lingering around.
