Absolute carnage and then...
 

...the bass showed.

Went out last night and started catching blues in 2-5# range.About 8pm all hell broke loose and the shoreline I was fishing was covered with 3" herring flopping all over the place with the blues inches from shore.

Just before full dark all the action stopped and the water and shore was filled with nothing but dead and dying herring.Then the bass showed.I caught a stack of 8-10# bass with lots of blues still mixed in.

Without a doubt one of the funnest nights I've ever had fishing.I did take pics of the carnage on my 35mm.Will try to post after this weekend if I use up the rest of the exps.

Wish I'd had the time to go again tonight but at some point I really to do need to acknowledge my g/f.

She likes to fish just not at my hyperactive level!
