Made my first ever trip tonight to The Mews Tavern in Wakefield, RI.....great food....awesome atmosphere....and the waitresses were smokin'..... :) :)

I'm just busting with the yuppies comment, it is a great place but tends to be too crowded. I also liked it 15 years ago before the new owner had it and it was a hole in the wall, they had an aweswome open mike jam night on Thursdays :humpty:

this place has a special spot in my heart :love:

Only place in Rhody that I've found with Harpoon Winter Warmer on tap :cheers:

you could say that about 30 other beers as well. ah, the mews. soooo many good memories. first place i used a fake id. those were the days.

I have never been there, nope never, and I definetly was not there last night :D
John R... HWW is a good first beer, but after 1 pint I just cant drink them, unless they are the 2.25 specials of course

Great place, especially when the herring are in!

Wickenden Street Pub has Moles of different beers on tap, but Mews is very good as well.

a good place within spittin distance to the canal is the trowbridge tavern next to the state police barracks in bourne a great beer rack and some of the finest scotches you can find on the Cape mmmm Pigs nose or sheep dip
