had 1 hour tonight /so what else ,I went fishing [right] went to my first stop / Flat/ass calm / got my gear /got down to where I wanted to be // & the place was full of bait ============================================ silverside spawn , that was that ><><<I know you can,t there,, with a size 22 fly / didn,t even make a cast //
went to my 2nd choice ,again got my gear & went to the water,s edge / fish dimpling the surface /but it was too dark to see any bait ,sooooooooooo I put my headlamp on =full blown CRAB hatch // if you have never witnessed this ,it makes the worm hatch seem like trout fishing right after the truck makes it dump....no cast here either, I had a better chance to catch the falling star I saw;;

Found fish on a similar hatch down my way two seasons ago, BIG fish that wouldnt touch anything... frustrating but fun to watch in a sick weird way....
