I am the second owner. Original owner used it as a tender for his larger yacht which he kept on a mooring. I have owned her for 4 years now, and she was kept in show room condition when I got her. Still is in great shape. We run to BI regularly, and also hit the Mudhole, Acid Barge, etc. for SBFT. Have trailered her to Cape Cod and chased many striper schools.

She is a VERY, VERY durable boat......typical Boston Whaler - heavy duty cleats, etc. With (2) kids.....(1) heading to college soon....need the cash....go back to slinging plugs from the beach..... :crying: :crying:

Thats a nice boat man. I'm trying to buy a house next year, can't spend that much. Thats why i'm only trying to spend 5,000. I'm test driving an 1975 whaler newport on tuesday (4500 or best offer). Comes with garmin fish finder, VHF, has a 90 johnson on it. But thanks for the reply, you overall happy with whalers?

Yes, I like my hwaler very much. Very well built boat. Narrow beam, but my 19' has extra wide chines and it is a very dry ride. Absolutely a great bay boat.

I have a '72 13' whaler; Love it, I have put that boat through conditions it was not designed for and it handles great.. a bit wet in chop, but it IS only 13ft...
