Smokey"s Swap Fly
 

This is Smokey's sand eel fly with the glow in the dark belly. Not to be confused with his glow in the dark belly! :)

That is one nice fly. How do you make the head up? Do you build it up with thread then epoxy it?

yes the head is built up with thread then epoxied very lightly. This gives a flat surface to stick the eyes on. The second coat seals the eyes in place.

It's all artificial material and the belly really does glow in the dark.
