Damn....nice fish.

Paul, I still shake my head when I think of where you caught that fish and another almost as big a year later. I won't ever divulge that spot, you have my word. My biggest on an eel? I had a 45 pounder at the mudflats at the west end one night fishing with DaveK, Stosh and Niel Plante under a September 1st quarter Moon. Running west tide, it was pretty hairy for a few minutes. :lurk:

ProfessorM 07-14-2005 12:14 PM

Thanks. It's on the wall. Can't believe it was that long ago. Man time fly's. P.

ProfessorM 07-14-2005 12:20 PM

Steve that is nothing to sneeze at. Anything over 35 lbs. in the canal is a good feat. I have never caught anything over 30 lbs. in the canal and I have put a lot of time in over the years. Stood next to guys that have. Never been lucky enough. Makes Dave L.'s on that yellow plug pretty amazing. P.
