Hi , I'm new to the whole forum thing and have have never turned a plug .
I'm looking for directions on how best to build a 1.5 oz pencil popper ,
including ,wood types , how to counter weight , place the center hook , rig the hooks , paint the lure , etc .
A little bio. on me , I live in Scotts Valley CA. and fish Monterey Bay and San Luis resevoir for stripers .
Any info would be great .
