Anyone ever go to the Brockton Rox?

Took my son last night and it was a great time. Fun night out and can't beat the price, we had seats 6 rows back right behind the plate for $8. We moved out to right field for a couple innings and someone homered right over our heads, outta the park and smashed out the back window of a car that was double parked :laughs:

All the kids got free shirts too. My son even won a pair of tix to our choice of games Aug. 12-14 :hee:

He just turned 11. That weekend in August is gonna be alot of baseball...we got free tix to the Sox vs the other Sox on the 14th, right next to the Pesky pole :hihi:

Every Home Game

The answer is yes, I have seen the Brockton ROX play; in fact, I've been to every home game and a few aways games too this year. The theme of the ROX is "fun is good". It's a good time whether you go with your entire family, a friend, or by yourself. See you there!

The PawSox are a pretty good buy, too. They refurbished McCoy Stadium. They have a food court and a berm in left field where you can spread a blanket and watch the game, and heckle the visitors' bullpen. Last time I went, I think it was $8 for a reserved seat and $6 for general admission. Plus, it's AAA ball and you can't get any better than that in the minors.

Thanks for the info Mike. I didn't know the Paw Sox were that cheap. Brockton is alot easier for us to get to, but the talent in triple A is obviously better.

We're definately gonna hit a few games in Brockton this year, but maybe head to Pawtucket too.

Got to see Oil Can pitch last year, at 45. That was for me. My son didn't know who he was :hihi:

Lowell Spinners is also a Great take....if you can get Tix. The field is beautiful and it is aimed at the Kids.....some good ball played there too.

Rox, Paw-Sox, Spinners, Cape League - "You Can't Go Wrong"

I agree.

All these teams are a good take for the individual fan or for the whole family. You don't spend a whole lot of money, and you can have a whole lot of fun.

For 2007, the Brockton Rox Baseball Club have introduced a new "flex tix", and you can purchase that online right now. With a flex tix pack you get tickets to 10 games so you get to know the team and the fans and the staff who are all great. Season's Tickets are also a GREAT DEAL.
