age 79, owner of Maridee Bait & Tackle.
Has passed on.

He always passed on what he new and did it with a smile, Very well known in south county and amongst surfcasters and boaters alike, he will be missed

May he fight large upstairs....

oh man... that sux. Andy was such a character :( He always called me Bobby.. not once did i correct him :D

My condolences to the family. He was a great guy. I will miss him.

he was definatly a character, always was making me laugh. i hadnt seen him in the shop this year and was wondering how he was doing. he lived a long one, prayers to his family.

very nice guy, pointed me in the right direction more than a few times when i was first starting out. :(

He was a nice guy - I was down there last season a few times - he had my stickers in there.
I came back a while later and asked them how they did and he told me that he gave them all away...
I said, "Andy, how are we gonna know if they sell if you give them all away?" We had a good laugh over it.

Yup; used to be my eel stop, he'd just wave ya in to the back room to pick your own eels... I miss that...

We talked blackfishing many a fall day, and like Eben said he never remembered the correct name, I was the rock guy from URI, that was good enough for me....

The stories he had from the 60's were bar none some of the best striper stories I'd heard....

He new his stuff and was full of funny stories, I learned alot from him on fishing gallilie

he also had a 60-65 lb bass to his credit :smokin:

My condolences to his family. As Bryan stated, he always let me pick my own eels. He had stories that would keep you mesmerized for hours. He had a 60+ a few 50s and more 40s than you could count.
