Manny is a disgrace to the game of baseball.

I've been a Manny supporter this whole time.......sorry, not on this one though....time to go, just going to be hard to replace him in that line-up...if he goes you will see others around him in the line-up suffer. It's more than just replacing Manny...Ortiz needs his protection, especially with Millar hitting behind him. :mad: :mad:

We don't need this crap going on right now.

Manny is Manny, he's is the most productive force on our offense, if he wants a day off vs. the Devil Rays, have at it, when you're the best you get fringe benifits.
He isn't the whole team though.

I usually don't have a problem w/ a day off but Nixon went down w/ an injury the day before and they needed him in the line-up. Yesterday's starting Line-up was ugly....I am glad they got the win though.

Good hitter for sure....great...I am not sure of that yet....certainly not Williams, Foxx, Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Carew, Jackson, Kiner, etc......as for we need him, no one is indespensible.....dump him I say....we don't need attitude problems.....look how well it turned out for Nomar. Manny should thank his lucky stars everyday that he was blessed to have the life he has. Period.

I'm not picking on you but that statement, coming from an 11 year old boy, is exactly why it was wrong.

A lot of kids look up to Manny and want to be just like him. Here's a guy that was blessed w/ an incredible talent and is making an un-godly amount of money and he can't show up for work on an "Off" day because his team needs him. What kind of message does that send?

There isn't a guy on this board who probably hasn't been called in at the last minute to do something for their company and had to work on the weekend or on a holiday. But that seems to be something Manny is exempt from. And I'm pretty sure that a lot of guys don't get 5 MONTHS of vacation a year either.

I think Baseball needs more Cal Ripkens and Tony Gwynns instead of a bunch Of Manny's and Pedros's (nothing racial there, I'm talking attitude).

This is a real life lesson. Life isn't fair.
I also don't think an 11 year old should be watching South Park or allowed on this site.
